Brigadier General Zoran Stojković the New Director of the Military Intelligence Agency

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, the former Deputy Director of the Military Intelligence Agency, Colonel Zoran Stojkovic, has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed to the post of the Director of the Agency.
Brigadier General Zoran Stojkovic graduated from the General Staff School in 2010, when he was extraordinary promoted to the rank of Colonel. He was a lecturer at Department for Intelligence Services at the National Defence School and preformed the duty of the Defense Attaché of the Republic of Serbia. He has been on different duties in the Military Intelligence Agency since 2005. He was the Deputy Director of the Agency since 2015 and he has been performing the duty of the Acting Director of the MIA based on the approval of the Minister of Defense.
The President of the Republic of Serbia has issued the decrees on the appointments to new duties, promotions to higher ranks and termination of professional military service in accordance with the Article 112, Paragraph 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and Article 17, Paragraph 9 of the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces.
