First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, gave an introductory lecture to the officers who will assume the post of defense attaché of the Republic of Serbia abroad in the forthcoming period.
Minister Dacic praised close and successful cooperation of the two ministries, emphasizing that foreign, security and defense policies are interconnected and mutually conditioned, and demand that civilian and military diplomacy be as strong, pointing and efficient as possible in accomplishing foreign policy goals and interests of the Republic of Serbia.
As part of the regular preparations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, future defence attachés will be informed, through lectures and discussions with the Secretary General, Assistant Ministers and Heads of Departments, about current issues within the Ministry's competence, with particular emphasis on the important elements which determine Serbia's position in the world today.
