Handover of Duties and Responsibilities at the Military Intelligence Agency

Belgrade – The handover of duties and responsibilities was held today at the Ministry of Defense between former Director of the Military Intelligence Agency (MIA) Brigadier General Dragan Vladisavljević and Colonel Slavoljub Dabić, who will perform the duties and responsibilities of Deputy Director of the MIA.
Colonel Slavoljub Dabić was born on October 27, 1961 in Čajetina. He finished the Military Academy – Department of Armored Mechanized Units, the General Staff School of the Yugoslav Army and the General Staff professional development.
He performed duties of Deputy Commander of the Guard from 2013 to 2014, as well as duties of Assistant Director for intelligence and reconnaissance affairs at the MIA from 2010 to 2011. During his career, he was twice appointed Defense Attaché of the Republic of Serbia in the French Republic from 2005 to 2010, as well as from 2011 to 2012. He was decorated with the National Order of Merit of the French Republic in 2010.
He was also a senior desk officer at the Department for the Preparation of Defense Attachés of Serbia and Montenegro from 2004 to 2005. He also performed the duty of a senior desk officer at the Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense from 2003 to 2004, as well as at the Intelligence Department of the General Staff of the Yugoslav Army from 2001 to 2003. He performed the duty of a desk officer at the Department of Security of the General Staff of the Yugoslav Army from 1999 to 2001, whereas in the period from 1997 to 1999 he was a teacher at the Security and Intelligence School Center. He performed commander duties in units of the Military Police from 1984 to 1997.
He is married and a father of one daughter. He speaks French.
