Military Commemorative Medals Awarded to the Members of the Military Intelligence Agency

The Director of the Military Intelligence Agency- (MIA) Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabic, authorized by the Minster of Defence, presented the military commemorative medals to the members of the Agency who participated in combat operations on the territory of former SFRY from 26 June, 1991 to 19 May, 1992.
Congratulating the Agency’s members, the Brigadier General Dabic said there is no greater honour than to defend the country.
“We hope that in future there will not be wars like there was in 1990s; however we, as the members of the Military Intelligence Agency, must always be ready to address all contemporary security challenges and threats”, emphasized the Agency’s Director.
Remembering the killed comrades who gave their lives for the country, the Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabic said that we must turn to the future in order to carry out successfully all entrusted tasks, to defend national interests and to timely inform the state and military leadership on the possible threats from abroad to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
