Meeting of Minister Stefanović with Future Defence Attachés of the Republic of Serbia

Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović met the future defence attachés, who will be during the summer, be seconded to their duties in Offices of Defence Attachés of the Republic of Serbia in Belgium, Italy, Germany, Romania, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Montenegro.
On that occasion Minister Stefanović informed the officers about the priorities of the defence policy of the Republic of Serbia, and focal tasks in the framework of bilateral military cooperation with the states of their assignment.
He underlined that our country is open for the regional cooperation and the cooperation with partners from other countries, but it is, at the same time dedicated to the preservation of military neutrality. Also, Stefanović stressed that the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces remain devoted to preservation of peace, stability and solidarity in regional, European and wider security context.
Expressing his expectations that the defence attachés would discharge their duties professionally and worthily represent our country, the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces, Minister Stefanović whished them success in their future work.
Today’s meeting was also attended by Director of the Military Intelligence Agency Brigadier General Zoran Stojković.
