Cocktail on the Occasion of Engagement of Defense Attachés Abroad

Belgrade, June, 2014 - A cocktail, which has become a traditional event, was held today at the premises of the Military Intelligence Agency (MIA), on the occasion of the engagement of defense attachés of the Republic of Serbia in their duties abroad.
On that occasion, the Acting Director of the MIA, Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabić, said that the priority in their work was performing their diplomatic functions in the field of defense, i.e. the representation and protection of interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and of the Serbian Armed Forces abroad.
By wishing them to perform their work as successful as possible, Brigadier General Dabić implied that a defense attaché’s competences were broad and that the defense attachés represented important reliance and an irreplaceable part of our diplomatic missions in the world.
