Belgrade- A cocktail, which has become a traditional event, was held today at the premises of the Military Intelligence Agency (MIA) on the occasion of the engagement of nine defence attaches and two assistants defense attaché of the Republic of Serbia to their duties abroad.

On this occasion the Director of the MIA, Brigadier General Slavoljub Dabic, said that the main role in their work was to represent Serbia, the Ministry of Defence and the Republic of Serbia with dignity as well as to protect the country’s interests.

By whishing them to perform their duty as successful as possible, Brigadier General Dabic implied that the best ones among the best candidates were selected for the duties and that they proved themselves as being the best during the preparations which lasted ten months.

The newly appointed defence attachés will perform their duties in the United States, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Israel, Egypt, Hungary, Macedonia, Turkey, while the new assistant defense attachés will conduct their work in Russian Federation and Great Britain.
