The future defence attachés and the members of their families were handed over diplomatic passports in the Military Intelligence Agency before taking their posts in defence attaché offices of the Republic of Serbia in the United Kingdom, Romania and Republic of Croatia.
Colonel Zoran Stojkovic, Deputy Director of the Military Intelligence Agency, wished the candidates success in preforming their responsible duty. In the addition, he emphasized that the focus of the work of a defence attaché is realization of the tasks within military-diplomacy function in the field of defence and representation and protection of the interests of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces abroad.
In the context of realization of the tasks in their new duty, Colonel Stojkovic has pointed out that the competencies of the defence attaché are wide and represent an integral and important part of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Serbia in the world.
